Oooo favorite form of exercise


Having reached the age of “you need to exercise”, for longevity, so they say, (who’s they I keep asking and how do they know)… I have instigated this lovely and easy to follow routine as my favorite form.

Listen closely.

I have found that simply lifting a glass of wine allows me to gain the strength I need. My biceps grow and grow, and sometimes there is twisting of my trunk as I reach for it. Flexibility!!!

Now if I don’t have any wine, it’s the walking to my car and then into the store, where I accumulate steps. So good for the body. French wine is always in the back of the store.

That and walking in tandem with the lifting and carrying my purse, great strength training. Taking my wallet out and producing my card, dexterity practice. Followed by more strength train carrying of said bottle or bottles.

Then the drive back, working hand eye coordination. Followed by getting my ass back to my reading chair, and holding my heavy book, again strength training. Don’t forget the leg work of getting in and out of said chair, so much exercise!

The mind of an older woman with great imagination can make exercise fun and something I do plenty.

So sorry you people have to go to the gym!
