I wanted to wait and write about the “new year” because like so many we have made the idea of a new year a vast doorway to a new you. Then about 20 some odd days into January the ideas are worn out and old habits picked back up. Then it’s just another year, same as the last. To get a person motivated enough to do the work of true change is only available to the one who is looking into the mirror. Think about it when was the last time you listened to someone other than your own inner monologue. That drink isn’t going to hurt me, I can quit “whatever” anytime I want. I will rage if I need to, its my right to express my anger all over the worldddddddd. And be faithful…to what, or who.

We are lost in a world of half assed answers, led by ego filled teachers and over zealous preachers, and now again a heavy handed government. We are led to believe that there is a way out that includes feeling awesome. Nope that’s not where we are in time. The work that is necessary now, really hasn’t changed since the days of the Christ. The holy word being God is with you and always with you and you need do nothing for that privilege but walk in Grace. On the other hand, something is watching you and listening to you and recording your actions and behaviors. Try to get humans to realize that, keep it in their frontal lobe. We are not alone and within your inner most sanctuary, sorry people, also not alone. Everything you do is recorded and known, and by the only energy that matters, the energy of creation. You are known!

The kingdom is within you so it might be a good idea to work that idea. The kingdom referred to, is that which surrounds us, our cosmos, that which you exist in and cannot exist without.

So who can care that it’s a new year, same as the last, and the other last…and it does look a little hopeless out there. A 6 year old carrying a gun to kill their teacher…as far as I’m concerned the new year is the marker for the spiritual warriors to get back to work. We use to pray for our families, then we wished them well, and then hoped everything would be ok. But a spiritual warrior can do so much more. The energy acquired through spiritual work is much more than the teachers teaching let you know. Each human was born with gifts of consciousness. Each person has the ability to work on theirs to further their cause and be an asset to their family. Power is given to those who work for it. Spiritual power is available. And you must work for it and be worthy.

Karma is the balancing arm of the universe, those who take will be taken, those who give will be elevated. Simple really, which is why it’s a mess and people still think money buys you freedom. The only thing that gives you freedom is the time you spent unfucking yourself. Harsh I know but really are you a child? Do you still need to be pacified to understand the power of your potential on this planet? Grownups need to be grown.

When mothers are powerful their children lives are marked by that power. If the father is powerful the children are marked by the power. But if weakness is in the family and the leaders self-indulgent and self-centered then…well, look outside, read the paper, that’s what year it is.

We are at the potential end to this story as world climates change and borders are disputed and religion still a fire starter. Humans are mad. They are mad about the false stories and untrue promises, we are all one, its one big world, let’s feed the world. Right? We can’t take care of our citizens and the homeless are a problem to the rich and we don’t want you here showing us our greed.

So at the very least, grab your big person pants and lift yourself above the fray. Do the self work that changes your insides, quit worrying about looking fat in your pants or examining your face for new winkles. Stop giving energy to worthless things. Let this so called new year actually mark the beginning of your new life as a powerful being in your own right.
